Queenstown Gardens scenery played a stunning backdrop to Remarkable Theatre’s goldrush-themed Summerdaze production last weekend.

Belinda Fraser (above) plays pioneering Eichardt’s Hotel publican Julia Eichardt in a scene from Greed, Glamour & Grudges – Tales of Gold whilst (below) Zelia Horrell and Paul Halsted perform in a barbershop medley.

About 500 patrons took in the eight performances.

Distractions included a hen’s party, huge wind gusts and a frisbee accidentally thrown into the audience on Sunday night.

Remarkable Theatre is putting on the show again at a ticketed event at the Goldfields Mining Centre’s wine tasting room, near Cromwell, on February 28.
