Kiwi chart-topper Dane Rumble will be back up Coronet Peak snowboarding the day after his free gig there on Saturday – if he’s not too hungover.
“I’ve got a rare day off on Sunday and I’ll stick around in Queenstown,” he tells Mountain Scene.
“The plan is to go boarding but it depends how the partying goes after the show. It could be a big night.”
The 6pm concert is the Cruel singer’s first at a skifield – and he aims to stay on the move to keep warm.
“I can’t wait – but I feel sorry for my band because the guys will have to play guitar with freezing fingers while I jump around the place,” Rumble says.
