Weather for tomorrow’s Air New Zealand Queenstown International Marathon may be wetter than first expected.
The latest weather models are indicating more rain than first expected for Saturday morning. Conditions are still expected to improve in the afternoon as a southerly change moves in and pushes the rain northwards.
There shouldn’t be much wind to worry about, but the rain will make conditions slippery. Temperature wise it will be cool around 11 or 12 degrees in the morning and it only rises a degree or two more for the afternoon.
However, look forward to Sunday as the skies clear and temperatures rise close to twenty in the afternoon.
