When stunning international model Caroline Lorinet last got her hair styled in Queenstown, she was blown away with the results.
So much so, she recently rang Salon Hair Trucco crimper Wilther Garzon inviting him –all-expenses paid – to do her hair for a photo shoot in Auckland next Monday.
The former French fashion model, who’s appeared in magazines like Elle and Vogue, is launching a range of skin-care products.
“Wilther was so fantastic and showed so much experience we decided to have him in Auckland for my hair style session for the photo shoot,” she says.
While tickled to be singled out, Wilther won’t be fazed by the experience.
Brought up in Ecuador, South America, the 36-year-old – who moved here four years ago – won a master hairdresser competition in Chile in 2002 and regularly styled hair for Miss Ecuador beauty pageant winners.
“Considering the hundreds of hair stylists in Auckland, we’re pretty stoked that Caroline picked out Wilther,” his employer Kerstin Brookes says.
