Seventy Wakatipu Conservatoire of Classical Ballet students perform a Christmas twist on
Tchaikovsky’s famous The Nutcracker over three shows this weekend.

Taught by Theresa Swain, who’s taken local ballet classes since 1995, the students range from three years old to adults.

She says the performances are dedicated to her graduating students, Tess Jones, Millie Jamieson-Gough and Brooklyn McLeod, who all finished their final ballet level this year.

The shows run at Queenstown Memorial Centre at 4pm today and 11am and 5pm tomorrow — tickets via eventfinda
