Matty McLean is preparing to swap the comfort of a TV studio for a much less cushy role.
The bubbly Breakfast host, who grew up in Queenstown, was this week named as a contestant on TVNZ’s revamped
Contestants, including McManus and former All Black Zac Guildford, jet off to Fiji next week to start filming.
Each contestant is competing for $100,000 to go to their chosen charity. McLean’s charity is Rainbow Youth.
The show, which originally aired on NZ screens in the early-2000s, has also starred current Otago regional councillor Michael Laws.
