The bouncer at the centre of England rugby star Mike Tindall’s Queenstown bar scandal continues to work in security.
Jonathan Dixon, suspended by Spartar Security over the incident, still works for Queenstown’s Ministry Bar.
His Spartar suspension came after Dixon uploaded to YouTube CCTV footage from inside Altitude Bar showing Tindall – who recently married royal Zara Phillips – cavorting with a mystery blonde. Dixon has since been charged with accessing a computer for dishonest purposes and reappears in Queenstown District Court on October 3.
Ministry owner Dan Crawford continues to employ Dixon who worked for him last Sunday.
“Jonathan, as a doorman, I think is top drawer. He’s always run a safe door for me – especially with the World Cup that’s upon us now as well, it’s vital that the venue is as safe as possible,” Crawford says.
Spartar operations manager Nick Parrish says Dixon was instantly suspended and that’ll continue pending the outcome of an internal disciplinary hearing.
