Hundreds of Jacko lookalikes will go wacko as Queenstown pays tribute to the late King of Pop tomorrow night.
Leading the crotch-grabbing, moonwalking frenzy at Winnies bar-restaurant is Daniel “Dangerous” McGill (left) and Erin “Thriller” Kuter.
The bar promotion workers got in the mood by dressing like their music superstar hero yesterday – to coincide with his memorial service in Los Angeles.
And they insist they’ll be opening the retractable roof at Winnies during tomorrow’s tribute party – so Michael Jackson can look down on the action.
“We know he’ll be watching from above, so we thought we’d make sure he gets a good view,” McGill says. “MJ will be with us in spirit.”
On the night – which kicks off at 10pm – as well as playing all of Jackson’s top videos and music, there will be prizes for best moonwalk, best Jacko dance and the best-dressed impersonator.
“We’ll also be giving away 100 free white gloves,” Kuter adds.
Jackson died at aged 50 of a suspected heart attack on June 25.
