Local sculptor Shane Woolridge is putting a stamp on his work to raise money for Arrowtown’s Lakes District Museum quake-strengthening project.

In collaboration with New Zealand Post, he’s producing 10 stamps featuring different
sculptures he’s created over the past 10 years.

Each stamp, for sale at both the museum and Arrowtown Post Office, costs $1.40, which is the new cost to send a postcard anywhere in NZ.

Arrowtowner Woolridge is currently working on a sculpture for a Dunedin memorial to
World War 1 conscientious objectors.

Meanwhile, his 2014 schist work, Thru Link to Peak, on Queenstown’s Kelvin Peninsula,
features on the cover of this month’s Air NZ inflight magazine.
