Police are investigating an accident involving three vehicles on a slippery stretch of Stanley Street today (Friday).

The accident, involving two cars and a Tricky Trees truck towing a trailer – occurred just before 1pm in wet conditions.

It’s understood no one was injured.

The accident comes two days after a Connectabus carrying about 20 passengers slid on wet tarmac on the same stretch of road.

The bus slid into two parked cars outside the Queenstown courthouse. No one was injured in that incident either.
