Queenstown to host All Blacks – including McCaw

Five All Blacks including Rugby World Cup-winning captain Richie McCaw are visiting Queenstown tomorrow.

McCaw – who’ll be bringing the World Cup William Ellis Trophy – will be joined by Ma’a Nonu, Andrew Hore, Cory Jane and Francis Saili at a public appearance at the Events Centre from 10am till 10.45am.

Children from Frankton’s Remarkables Primary will welcome the All Blacks to their Events Centre appearance – and get involved in athletics activities with the pupils.

A 20-minute question and answer session follows, while fans will also be able to meet the All Blacks and take photos of them and the World Cup.

The All Blacks will then go on to Wakatipu High where they’ll be dispensing leadership and skills advice to the school’s rugby players.

The players will also be available to meet fans at the airport from 2pm till 2.30pm on departure.

The All Blacks then fly to Auckland for a two-day training camp ahead of their tour to Japan, France, England and Ireland.
