Queenstown mayor Clive Geddes has decided against standing for a fourth mayoral term.

Geddes, 65, issued a statement to media yesterday afternoon saying after some deliberation he has decided not to seek re-election in the local body elections in October.

“I have enjoyed every minute of being part of and representing this positive and energetic community and appreciate the constructive relationship I have shared with you all.”
