Queenstown house has ‘X Factor’

– A Melbourne visitor won’t forget his chance encounter with Sir Bob Charles at Millbrook this month. Not realising he was a Kiwi golfing legend, the man asked about the state of his game and handicap. “Scratch,” Sir Bob replied. The Aussie nearly fell over. 

– At a preview for Showbiz Queenstown’s Chicago musical, which opens tonight, choreographer Anna Stuart explained her advice to dancers: “If it feels incredibly awkward, you’ve got it right.” 

– A Jetstar captain flying into Queenstown on Monday morning welcomed passengers to “the Waka … pitu”. 

– The X Factor NZ judge Stan Walker hosted the over-25 finalists at a Queenstown retreat – in none other than the resort’s most expensive super home, $10 million Jagged Edge above the road to Glenorchy.
