Queenstown’s Flight Park is putting on free entertainment for locals and visitors this weekend.

The landing zone for the Wakatipu’s many hang-gliders and paragliders, with its associated Flight Park Café, is putting on family and kids’ fun from 12.30pm on Saturday.

Craig Smith, the man behind runaway success kids book and song Wonky Donkey will swoop in and make a guest appearance at the park, which is on the back road between Queenstown and Arrowtown.

The Playball boys will be out there with their mini-sports games while local entertainer Milly Begley will be showing off her hula-hoop skills.

Café co-owner Victoria Tovey says there’ll be plenty of aerial entertainment from the hang-glider and paraglider pilots plus lolly scrambles, a bbq and refreshments.
