The driver of a Queenstown Connectabus which slid on wet tarmac into two parked cars has walked away unscathed.
The coach was left with a smashed windscreen and mangled door after it collided with two vehicles parked outside the Queenstown court house at about 3pm today (Wednesday).
“All I know is there’s no-one hurt, we’ve slid on the wet tarmac into some cars,” Connectabus boss Ewen McCammon says.
He’s unsure whether the bus was carrying passengers at the time.
Traffic is still continuing in both directions.
The damaged coach will now be taken away to be inspected, McCammon adds.
