“While this was going on, it’s alleged that another man from Invercargill joined in and at the same time he allegedly attacked a woman, so he too was arrested and charged with assault and male assaults female.”

“She had been going around the town centre with three associates and she was found to have items in her possession that had been taken from various other premises,” Haggart says.
Prowler on the loose
Cops want to trace a man who caused a scene at Creeksyde Holiday Park last Sunday.
“A couple staying there were woken by a male who was trying to climb into their room through a window about 1.30am,” Haggart says.
“A few hours later, workers found a man – possibly the same bloke – asleep in a chair in a staff room but he scarpered.
“We would like to speak to this individual.”
