Film Otago Southland executive manager Kevin (KJ) Jennings has been appointed to the 2013 Association of Film Commissioners International Board of Directors.

The association is the official professional and educational organisation for regional and national film offices worldwide, with more than 300 member offices and an advisory board of an influential group from studios, producers, international location scouts, and the Motion Picture Association of America.

Jennings appointment is seen as a boon for the New Zealand film industry and an opportunity to engage with the global film market.

“This is a real honour, I look forward to working with the AFCI board, but more than that I see this as a fantastic opportunity to promote the region and New Zealand in general to the wide range of contacts associated with the board,” Jennings says.
