Director Victoria Keating doesn’t hesitate when asked to describe her upcoming Remarkable Theatre production of Secret Bridesmaids’ Business.
“It’s a wonderful comedy-drama about love, truth, fidelity, honesty, friendship and marriage,” she says.
“It’s more comedy than drama – definitely a ladies’ night out. Gents will chuckle at it, they won’t be rolling in the aisles but the ladies certainly will be,” Keating confidently predicts.
The show is Remarkable Theatre’s first major production since morphing out of the former Queenstown Shakespeare troupe.
Keating’s cast is Fiona Stephenson, Kate Blackhurst, Zelia Horrell, Jill Darby, Susan Auty, Camilla Lojdstrom – and lone male David Oakley.
There are four performances at Arrowtown Hall between September 1-3, with tickets now available at Lakes District Museum and World Travellers Queenstown, formerly United Travel.
