Sky Sports camerawoman Karla Underwood had an ‘office’ with a view yesterday.
It’s the third time the freelancer has been perched halfway up the Remarkables with her vista camera during Queenstown cricket matches.
‘It’s rad, actually,” the Aucklander says of her prime vantage point – despite the nasty weather.
There was only a touch of cricket action to capture before the game was rained off yesterday, but Underwood says she usually snaps ”scenery, jetboating, helicopters and planes landing” anyway.
“I can get as close as the wicket from here, but basically I do wide shots of the view and show where the ground is situated in the mountains,” Underwood says.
Her shots are shown at least once an over.
