A 48-year-old Lakes District resident has denied three charges of indecently assaulting two minors more than a decade ago.
The man, granted interim name suppression by Cook on Tuesday, is charged with two alleged indecent assaults of a seven-year-old girl, between January 2003 and January 2005.
The other charge is an alleged indecent assault of a four-year-old girl between June 2004 and May 2005. Each charge carries a maximum 10-year jail term.
The man also denied one charge of breaching name suppression on November 4 - an offence with a maximum penalty of six months’ imprisonment or a $100,000 fine.
He elected trial by jury and was remanded on bail to a case review hearing on January 11.
