Despite Covid badly biting into Queenstown’s hospo sector, one operator’s adding two more
CBD outlets.
Queenstown Hospitality 2012 Ltd’s this week opening a sandwich bar in The Mall and a Greek restaurant in Beach Street.
Named after the district’s first discoverer of gold, Thomas Arthur, Arthur’s Gourmet Sandwich Shop will specialise in made-to-order sandwiches, along with coffee, salads, jacket potatoes, breakfast-on-the-go and sweet treats.
The 48 square metre premises were formerly occupied by souvenir shop Mall Mania.
Yia Yia’s — ‘grandmother’, in Greek — occupies seafood restaurant Fishbone’s former premises.
Billed as the world’s southernmost Greek restaurant, it’s focusing on simple, delicious
comfort food and an accent on sharing, with some signature touches.
