Healthy Queenstown women are being encouraged to give birth at home.
Over the past year, 12 Queenstown mums have welcomed their babies into the world at home.
Madison Haddow (right), was in labour for eight hours with little Lillian two months ago.
“I gave birth to my four-year-old son Benjamin in hospital in Australia and it was quite impersonal. The home birth was amazing, just so different.”
