Skyline hero Captain Gravity and luge supervisor Graham Rogers (rear right) thought they’d picked little angels and budding models to pose alongside – but the little munchkin on the left couldn’t resist a below-the-belt dig.
They joined 1800 people at the Gibbston Harvest Festival at The Winehouse and Kitchen last Saturday – 400 fewer than last year’s turnout. Organiser Timbo Morrison-Deaker attributed the lower figure to competing events such as the Queenstown Primary School Fair and people leaving town for the long weekend.
But there was still plenty of support for the celebration of the approaching grape harvest, he says.
Gibbston Valley Station is tipped as the location for next year’s event.
