Queenstown Lakes District Council is dishing out coffee with draft plan information.
The council is offering residents and ratepayers the chance to voice opinions on the Draft Annual Plan – and get a caffeine fix at the same time.
“We wanted to have a very informal opportunity for the community to drop in and ask any questions they may have about what is proposed before they prepare their submissions,” deputy chief executive Stewart Burns says.
Locals wanting a chinwag over coffee can head to council’s Gorge Rd offices on Thursday morning from 9-11am.
Submissions can be made on the plan until May 17.
