Queenstown’s Happiness House is celebrating a red-letter day – the delivery of this new mailbox. Pictured from left are the community support centre’s senior staff member Niki Mason, Keith Syme who built the mailbox in the shape of the centre’s quirky logo, ex-mayor and close neighbour Warren Cooper who painted it and new manager Karen Stuart. Stuart, who wanted to replace the centre’s “very manky” letterbox, says she’s delighted with the new Dr Seuss-looking one. Meanwhile, Happiness House is holding its AGM at its Park Street premises next Thursday at 11.30am. The guest speaker is new councillor Alexa Forbes.
