Harcourts auctions a family home at 13 Wellswood Way, Quail Rise next Wednesday. It’s got three living areas including one for the kids, four double bedrooms plus office, and a two-car garage. The section’s north-facing, fully landscaped, on a quiet no-exit street. The vendors are committed sellers because they’re leaving town. The property’s current value is $780,000.




Lake Hayes Estate
A musician herself, Frankton Real Estate salesperson Andrea Cruickshank calls 14 Sylvan St “an exceptional indoor/outdoor entertainer”. Listed at $649,000, it’s a two-storey home with two ground-floor bedrooms and two more upstairs. There’s an open-plan living space with gas fire adjoining the family dining area, and a light, spacious kitchen.




Walnut Grove haven
A quiet location with a rural outlook is the best selling point for 48 Erskine St, Walnut Grove, Ray White salesman Duncan Brown says. Priced at $559,000, this near-new north-facing home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and double garaging. The courtyard suits both adult entertainment and child’s play, Brown says. Walnut Grove backs onto Lake Hayes Estate.




Large Arthurs Point pad
For $1,095,000, Professionals Fisken & Associates is selling a 300sq m home at 12 Amber Court, Arthurs Point, with extensive schist, hardwood beams and rimu flooring. There’s a spacious master suite, plus three further bedrooms and a sizeable home office, a living room with double fireplace, and a landscaped garden and BBQ area. It boasts a rural outlook just minutes from town.




Arrowtown dress circle
Bayleys describes 22 Advance Terrace as “a stunning family home”. Features include four spacious bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, a sunny lounge opening onto a private patio, “gourmet” kitchen and downstairs three-car garaging with room for a workshop, wine cellar or storage area. The vendor’s considering offers over $950,000.




Spacious four-bedder
Hoamz believes any family is catered for by a modern four-bedroom-plus-office property at 27 Mavora Road, Lake Hayes Estate. Features include plenty of storage, double garage, high-stud ceilings, under-tile heating and two heat pumps. Large living spaces and an open kitchen/dining area complement a secure garden and decking. The home’s listed at $585,000.




Shade sail included
Locations Realty’s Chris Campbell claims 55 Erskine St, Lake Hayes Estate is “incredibly well-priced for today’s market” at $569,000. It has three large bedrooms and a separate lounge that could double as an extra bedroom. Central heating throughout provides warmth in winter and fresh cool air in the summer. A purpose-built shade sail doubles as another living area. The property’s low-maintenance, built for privacy and well-presented, Campbell adds.



Easy family living
“Exciting yet very liveable and comfortable” is how Browns Sotheby’s International boss Peter Newbold describes 12 Alta Place, Lake Hayes Estate, selling at $635,000. Set in a “child-friendly” cul-de-sac, the home has four bedrooms and 30sq m of decking. The designer kitchen and bar area is said to act as a central hub between expansive open-plan living areas. There’s also a separate living/study/library area.
