Talk about longevity.
Veteran Queenstown artist Gus Watson’s running his Littles Road New Year exhibition, for the 33rd time, from January 3 till 14.
His brightly-coloured works, as pictured, depict the likes of local scenery, polo and women in watercolour and acrylic, on canvas and paper, with some abstracts as well.
Watson’s garden, at 355 Littles Road, is also a treat to explore, while he’ll also be selling his 2022 calendar.
He started painting while he was meant to be studying law at university.
‘‘I do it because it just totally consumes me — it’s like my golf equivalent,’’ Watson says.
