One of the closest development sites to the Queenstown CBD is on the market.
The former house site – known locally as ‘Jurassic Park’ – is on the corner of Frankton Road and Brisbane Street, close to the Queenstown Gardens and main arterial road into town.
Plans for apartment complexes on the 2808sq m site have been consented but not developed. The current owner, NZ Snow Ltd – whose shareholder is Sydney-based Matthew Goodall – also bought Reavers Lodge, on Queenstown’s Hamilton Road, two years ago. Colliers International is marketing the property by deadline private treaty, closing May 16.
The high density residential zoning allows for apartment, multi-unit or visitor accommodation development or multiple premium residential dwellings. The site’s rateable valuation is $2.9 million.
