Destination Queenstown’s daily dose of paradise hits social media


Destination Queenstown is further embracing the social media phenomenon with an Instagram account. 

Already prolific on social network Twitter, staff have set up an Instagram account where they upload photos of daily life in Queenstown – like these ones (right) – and share them with their followers. 

Instagram is a free photo-sharing mobile app that has recently been bought by Facebook. 

Destination Queenstown boss Graham Budd says sharing regular photos and videos via social media channels is an important part of the tourism organisation’s marketing strategy.
