‘Twas two months before Christmas, and all through the town, singers, dancers and actors began to countdown.
Queenstown’s popular Shotover Jet Christmas Show is returning this year on December 9, just in time for the festive season.
This year’s show, directed by Lisa Moore, will tell the story of a child who’s upset their family and friends are too busy to decorate the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.
Their teddy bear Angus comes to life to show there are many groups and individuals helping others in Queenstown to make Christmas special, and that’s why everyone is so busy.
Moore says it’s “really celebrating people who give their time and help others”.
It’s Moore’s third time directing, something she says is down to the enthusiasm of the cast and “the wonder” on the little faces in the audience.
“It’s just a great way to celebrate the end of the year and the start of the festive season.”
The show will be held at Queenstown Events Centre, with shows at 1pm and 5pm.
Tickets are on sale today, from the show’s website and Eventfinda.
