Former All Black star Justin Marshall has been named brand ambassador for Queenstown-based real estate agency Locations Realty.

One of the All Blacks’ greatest halfbacks, Marshall played 81 Tests and is now a Sky Sport rugby commentator.

Eighteen months ago he shifted to Queenstown with his family following quake damage to his rented Christchurch property.

Marshall’s new role will see him act as a key spokesperson for Locations, including involving himself in the business in areas like recruitment, Locations managing partner Stacy Coburn says.

“We’re working with Justin on his own property requirements, which means he perfectly understands the customer experience.

“Justin is in the same situation as many people looking to get into the Queenstown property market.”

Marshall says he’s delighted to be involved: “I’m originally a Southland boy from Mataura and Locations has been in Southland and Central Otago for 30 years – the sort of company people know and trust.

“Rugby’s brought me to where I am today, but it’s time I had something different to talk to people about.”
