Arrowtowner Ana Lynch is excited about the historic town’s newest eatery opening for business.
Laneway, down Arrow Lane, offers locals and tourists a different option for lunch and dinner.
Co-manager Lynch says Laneway fills a gap in Arrowtown, providing wraps at lunchtime plus gourmet burgers and boutique beers at night.
“There’s no burger place in Arrowtown, there was a big hole for this,” she says.
Ana and her husband Ben Lynch, a fellow co-manager, also plan to host a series of concerts throughout summer, featuring local bands. The first on November 23.
Laneway is open 7am-3pm Monday to Wednesday. On Thursday to Sunday it re-opens at 4.30pm till late for burgers and beers.
The business, originally Joe’s Garage and more recently Lost Cafe, is owned by Lake Hayes’ Susanna Martin.
