It’s pumping

Petrol begins flowing again from Monday at the Mobil pumps in Frankton. After a three-month major redevelopment of forecourt and building, the service station opens to the public in time for Christmas.

Boss Daniel Murphy says contractors worked to schedule on the new station, which sees capacity double to accommodate eight cars and two trucks at a time.

The Mobil also boasts a new high-flow remote diesel pump that can handle larger vehicles like buses and trucks, and a cafe selling barista-style coffee and food to match.
