Queenstown has a fun new activity firing up on its doorstep – paintballing.
Hamish Ludbrook (right), who runs a similar operation in Wanaka, opens Queenstown Paintball at Woolshed Road near Jack’s Point next Wednesday.
“We’ve wanted to come to the resort for some time,” Ludbrook says.
“It was a matter of finding the right property as a lot of the terrain is fairly steep in the Wakatipu and not

Ludbrook reckons the Queenstown operation could attract triple the business of Wanaka – and he’s also looking at putting in lighting for night games.
Prices will range from $45-$100 per person, depending on the number of paintballs required.
