Free lessons in post-Covid marketing

Three of New Zealand’s top marketers are presenting a free seminar on Thursday on how to drive business in the post-Covid world.

It’s being organised by the NZ Marketing Association (NZMA) to celebrate the launch of its new online membership and resource hub.

The speakers are NZ ‘marketer of the year’, SBS chief customer officer Shane Evans, who’s addressing digital marketing for small businesses, TRA partner and industry insights expert
Colleen Ryan, whose topic’s ‘trust and what impact Covid has had and what companies need to know going forward’, and local-based Skyline Enterprises commercial GM Michael Ramsay, who’s speaking on ‘the role of marketers in driving (re)growth of their businesses’.

John Miles, NZMA’s CEO says: ‘‘We chose Queenstown as we felt this was one of the towns
in NZ most hit by the pandemic, and marketing is one of the keys to revitalising their business and attracting customers to Queenstown.

‘‘Understanding potential customers is the key to getting them there, and then having
excellent customer service so they go back and tell their friends is crucial.

‘‘We have three of the best marketers in NZ here to share their expertise.’’

The event runs from 12.30 to 2.20pm at Queenstown Resort College this Thursday — to
