A majority Queenstown-owned company is among the 50 fastest-growing in New Zealand for the third year running.
Cook Brothers Construction has placed 19th in the latest Deloitte Fast 50 list with growth of 330 per cent in the last year.
It was also the best Otago/lower South Island performer.
The nationwide company – formed six years ago – is two-thirds owned by Queenstown-raised brothers David and Ben Bulling, who live in Auckland and Wellington, respectively.
The Queenstown-based Southern Lakes branch, co-owned by its commercial manager Simon Glass, was set up 18 months ago.
Major projects include the refurbishment of the local Bank of New Zealand branch and the ongoing Arrowtown Postmaster’s Precinct project.
