Queenstown businesses are helping paint town red for Cure Kids’ Red Nose campaign – like AJ Hackett Bungy’s Claire Thomson.
Thomson (pictured) joins staff at Coronet Peak and Remarkables skifields, Patagonia Chocolates and KJet dressing themselves and premises in red for tomorrow and selling merchandise.
Money raised goes to Cure Kids to fund research into life-threatening children’s illnesses.
Gibbston Valley Wines, dressing up its restaurant and vineyard, launches tickets tomorrow for its Cure Kids black-tie charity gala dinner and auction on September 21.
Celebrity DJ Peter Urlich, Cure Kids fundraising boss Tina Mathieson and Gibbston chief winemaker Christopher Keys, are helping prepare for the fundraiser which raised more than $19,000 last year.
Tickets are $150 a head.
