Australian equine therapist Kaye Hannan gave a masterclass on treating horses at the Lakes Hayes Showgrounds over Labour Weekend.
Seven horse owners attended the two-day clinic including two who came across from Australia.
“They came because I wasn’t holding anything over there before the end of the year,” Hannan says.
Hannan, who runs an equine therapy practice based in the Blue Mountains, near Sydney, taught owners to assess their horses for biomechanics, muscle symmetry, injury and discipline-based anomalies.
“They’re all going, ‘When are you coming back?’”
This weekend Hannan is tutoring at Telford Rural Polytechnic, near Balclutha.
