British reality TV star Jack Osbourne’s “I Love QT” message lights up the night sky on Queenstown’s Cecil Peak last Thursday.
The photo was taken by local mountain guide Tarn Pilkington – using a headlamp and eight-second extended exposure – while camping out with Osbourne.
The 23-year-old son of heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne spent eight days in Queenstown with a film crew shooting the fifth instalment of his TV series Adrenaline Junkie, tracking Jack and his celebrity mates conquering the world’s biggest thrills.
Pilkington helped Osbourne and other celebs – including United States Desperate Housewives actor Jesse Metcalfe, a British movie star and a BBC Radio 1 presenter – walk a slackline above a 60-metre cliff the day after he took this snap.
The stunt joined a string of daredevil activities the foursome did in Queenstown before flying out last Sunday, Pilkington says.
