Part of the village centre at Arrowtown’s Millbrook Resort is about to be redeveloped.

In what’s understood to be a $4 million project, the forecourt entry and golf cart areas will be upgraded.

Two new buildings to house carts will be built on the current practice green, which will be relocated along with the first tee block.

The work also involves new plantings, paving and stone walls.

It’s expected work will start soon and be completed by spring.

The upgrade’s the first stage of what’s expected to be a full redevelopment of Millbrook’s village centre to cope with increasing numbers of members and visitors.

The village centre, including food and beverage facilities, dates back to the early ‘90s when the golf course resort was originally developed.

Mountain Scene understands Millbrook Resort’s officially launching the project via a national news outlet.
