Queenstown will be tinged with pink when the eighth annual Gay Ski Week NZ gets underway this Saturday.
About 900 gay men and lesbians converge on the resort during 12 days of partying – with some skiing thrown in at Coronet Peak, Cardrona, and, for the first time, Snow Park.
Kiwi lesbian comedy duo the Topp Twins is part of the festival entertainment, providing laughs at Rydges Lakeland Resort on September 9.
Organiser Craig Lawson says ticket sales are already going through the roof, with events such as the Cowboy Dinner and the Hot Pool Party sold out.
