Three Arrowtown pupils battle it out in a 60-metre hurdles heat at the school’s athletics day last Thursday.
From left are 11-year-olds Xavier Sadler, Jack Gerken and Zac Houston. Zac later finished second in the under-12 hurdles finals at the Events Centre, and Xavier finished third.
Hurdles final winner was Jak Jessop, 11, who also won the 60m under-12 sprint and was runner-up in the long jump.
