Fantastic coffee, a relaxed vibe, brilliant food and after a while the staff will probably know your name. Motogrill makes the best coffee in Queenstown, serving up Caffe L’affare beans by baristas who know their stuff. Their ‘midis’ and ‘bongos’ are to die for and are a perfect accompaniment to their range of counter food and the brilliant breakfast and lunch menu. In season their whitebait fritters fly out the door, and the Southland Sushi brings in many tourists for a taste of some ‘local fare’. Portions are huge and never fail to satisfy, the witty conversation with the staff makes the dining experience well worth it, and the eclectic range of tunes on the stereo (as well as the staff singing a long) make it well worth a visit. And we’re not the only ones who think the coffee is good – Cuisine Magazine recently praised Motogrill as the best coffee in Central Otago. Come try it for yourself.
