Megamind (Will Ferrell), the blue arch-villain of Megacity, has peaked too soon. Having defeated his nemesis Megaman (Brad Pitt) – an irritatingly canny parody of Superman – his life has become shallow and meaningless. With no heroes left to test his villainy on, things seem set to become unbearably dull, until he decides to create a hero of his own….. Someone he can really loathe, someone with the disgustingly ‘do-gooder’ attributes that Megaman had but with a handy re-set button for backup should things go pear-shaped. Unfortunately, things do not turn out quite as planned……
A marvellously funny family film, in the best tradition of Toy Story and Shrek. With a clever balance of overt and innuendo and sharply written, this is a real winner. You’ll love the clever parodies of well known super-hero characters and iconic moments. This is one of the best kids films (for adults!) this year.

Hi Sarah, I loved this movie too, but just wanted to say that it is Metrocity, and Metro Man...not Megacity and MegaMan!
