Gutsy seven-year-old Jacob Killeen gets a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the Wakatipu during a thrilling aerial plunge from 4500 metres.
Pictured with tandem instructor Nick Dowling, Brisbane-based Jacob – holidaying in Queenstown with dad Russell, mum Julie and brother Bailey, 10 – didn’t hold back on the opportunity to take an NZone skydive recently.
“The skydive was all Bailey’s idea, mum Julie was not keen initially but warmed to it when the rest of the family were all in on the idea and committed,” NZone’s business development manager Derek Melnick says.
Jacob and Bailey are among the youngest kids to skydive in the area, he adds.
