Omar, a British Muslim working as security guard, along with his hapless band-of-brothers, are on their way to heaven in a blaze of glory – via the London Marathon. But this is one terrorist attack that doesn’t quite go according to plan…!
A jet-black comedy that moves along at a rollercoaster pace, this may throw up some uncomfortable associations but, as a film with a sensitive topic, it neatly avoids being pigeon-holed as either propaganda or ridicule. We are instead shown a well-written film, brilliantly acted with substantial characters who manage to capture your heart – even as your head screams NO!! Highly recommended.
