Queenstown businesses have been quick to rally behind Wakatipu Health Trust’s upcoming public health forum. 

About $5000 was needed to hold the community pow-pow at City Impact Church on March 27 – more than $6000 was raised within 24 hours. 

“We are absolutely delighted with the response which has exceeded our expectations,” Trust project leader Maria Cole says. 

Local businesses that jumped on board are: MediaWorks Radio, Mactodd, Ballarat Holdings, Good Group, Ngai Tahu Tourism, Wilkinsons Pharmacy, Queenstown Airport Corp, Blanket Bay, Vivian & Espie, Bungy New Zealand Group, McCulloch & Partners and Mountain Scene.
