Wedding bliss: Former Queenstowner Richard Jensch is tying the knot in Ireland
LOCALS Caroline and Mark Jessop and Alan Ward have popped over to Kilkenny in Ireland for the wedding of former well-known Queenstowner Richard Jensch. Jensch, who owned the Embassy movie theatre and was president of the Chamber of Commerce, is marrying Irish lass Aoife Marnell on Wednesday. 

I HEAR ex-All Blacks coach Laurie Mains has sold his Kelvin Heights pad to The Spire boutique hotel manager Mel Bohse. 

A COUPLE of landmark birthdays were celebrated on Saturday. Pam Read held her 60th at her Arrowtown home while Karl Stieglbauer’s 50th was on at Avanti restaurant.
