All Blacks’ mastermind

New Zealand’s leading sports psychologist believes many of his techniques that have helped top teams win games and tournaments are applicable to business.

Gilbert Enoka, mental skills coach for the All Blacks for the past 18 years, is among 10 leading entrepreneurs, business and sportspeople addressing the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Business and Banter’ forum at The Winehouse at Gibbston on Friday.

His topic is ‘Nailing performance when it matters most’.
“The synergies between business and sport are very, very strong,” he says.

Other speakers tomorrow include world champion rower Mahe Drysdale, Maori doctor, disruptive leader and innovator Dr Lance O’Sullivan and scientist and philanthropist Sir Ray Avery.
The MC is broadcaster Paddy Gower.

The Deloitte-sponsored forum runs from 10.30am till 5pm.
The cost — Chamber members $235, non-members, $255 — includes lunch and networking drinks.
