    Allied Press Queenstown needs a reporter who’s all about hard news but will also write community stories.

    Allied Press Limited employs over 450 people on a permanent basis across its 15 sites in the South Island. We operate across multiple media platforms (print, on-line, digital) delivering news, information and entertainment through our various regional and city publications.

    You’ll be working from our busy newsroom, ?ling for our regional daily, the Otago Daily Times, our weekly award-winning community title Mountain Scene, and online.

    Ideally, you’ll have a good track-record of breaking exclusives, the ability to quickly develop and maintain contacts in a new town (unless you’re from Queenstown, which would be great too), and experience covering court and council. Social-media skills are a must, as is the ability to shoot video when required and take a cracking photo. You’ll be a team player, able to take
    instruction well and also work hard under your own initiative.

    • Clean NZ driver’s licence
